Atomic Clock Weather Stations Here
An atomic clock is the most accurate type of timepiece in the world; it measures time according to vibrations within atoms. Some of the atomic clocks display weather
conditions like temperature and humidity in addition to showing the accurate time. Atomic clocks with alarm capabilities and temperature and calendar displays are of great utility value while traveling.
Some atomic clocks with wireless capabilities contain an indoor and an outdoor thermometer, hygrometer, and barometer. These clocks can measure indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, indoor relative humidity, outdoor relative humidity, air pressure and pressure trend. A UV sensor is an optional accessory in these models. The sensor can detect ultraviolet light. An air-quality sensor is also an optional feature, which measures and displays indoor air quality, including particulars of pollen dust and other airborne particles.
Atomic clocks with weather displays can be wall-mounted or free standing. The interactive menu on the screen allows you to access the rainfall history for the last hour, the last twenty-four hours, the previous week, or even the previous month. Some atomic clocks show wind information like speed, direction, and gust. Weather symbols such as sunny, cloudy, fair, and rainy are displayed on the touch screen. Certain atomic clock models display air pressure history graphs, which denote the progress of barometric air pressure over a time interval. These weather station atomic clocks can be connected to your PC by means of the cable included, and all collected weather data can be transferred to the computer.
Advanced atomic clocks that can even predict the probabilities of snowfall, fog, frost,
tempest, strong winds or storms are now manufactured. The alarm systems in these can be set to any individual preference such as a low or high indoor/outdoor temperature alarm, low or high indoor/outdoor humidity alarm, or a low air pressure alarm.
These weather station units work on AC/DC power adapters or with battery backups. Most of the atomic clocks can automatically set themselves to within one second of the official government time shown by the atomic clock in Boulder, Colorado. This is possible through a radio signal from the standard time center.
